Now that the news has broken, I'd like to take this chance to bid farewell to CCP Veritas.

Your devblogs were a wonderful insight to the innards of EVE, a special delight to us fellow programmers, and without your work the Battles at Asakai and B-R5RB probably would have never happened.

In all seriousness though, eve is 11+ years old. This is pretty normal for a company in general.

Damage control? LOL, just pointing out that people tend to think ignorant thoughts with little to no actual information and jump to unfounded conclusions. The last one of these threads was the most hilarious, as those CCPers and anyone with half a brain knew they were leaving months before it "hit the press."

Have you ever held a job for longer than 10 years? I have, I didn't leave because I didn't like it, I left because the pay the other company could offer me for a less time consuming job made it idiotic to stay where I was.

I certainly don't know many other people who have held a job that long and those I know who have, certainly did not work at a corporation.

It is if the other company is offering you something you can't get from where you currently are employed and want it bad enough to move your entire life.

This is normal. everyopne has had a buddy at work who leaves and then does the 'hey dud we have a spot open i can put in a god word for ya' or 'hey i am thinking of leaving what you all got open there?'
