Can we have a nice sound effect to the cloak? Please?

And audible by the entire grid (like the warp-in/out) so you definitely know what follows when you hear 30-40 bombers uncloaking next to you.

It will be so epic!

P.S. Are hexes proportional to the model size? From the videos i've seen it seems that they scale with maximum zoom level... for lacking better words. It is a bit, well, strange, but if a single hex held uniform size across hulls... i guess a titan would be covered with way too may of them.

After a jump, the "first stage" honeycomb cloak effect is active. It changes immediately to the "second stage" effect and plays the "cloaking finished" sound. This can get really annoying. Please make the "second stage" effect default after jump.

if you are under gate cloak and you warp + immediately recloak the animation screws up (thats what you typically do when using covops ships)

edti: it also happens when you cload and immediately decloak. Looks like the animation is not interruptable which causes problems.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I don't have SISI set up... does anyone know if the new improvement to WH effects has been added to the EVE Gate?

Shameful if it hasn't.

That instead of that dark blue, it is a more greenish colour on all the ships areas were blue is, I take it this is a bug yes?

That bug happened before as well, when they first implemented DX11.

Where is the sound from? It freaks me out, because I 1000% know it from another game, but can't remember which one.

Funny Story (More Funny Oh and not so much Funny Ha Ha):

This is not actually a bug so to speak.

The CreoDron Corp and color scheme have always been green in concept (note the hue of the logo...approved by old Ceul Darieux himself, no doubt), but have crept toward blue bit by bit over time with lighting changes and alterations in our processes. With the new SOF feature, we are finally displaying them as the designers originally intended.

So, one: Thank you! That is exactly the kind of thing we're looking for.

And two: This is not that thing.

Can anybody confirm that the sound heard whilst cloaked continues to play when cloak is deactivated?
This also is the case for me, when I set the sliders for "Ship Ambiance" and "Atmosphere" to 0.

Nope. Do you maybe mistake it with "Station exterior"?

jumped through the gate hit approach then cloak then cloak again then warp

the cloak texture staid on the ship even with the module off and me bumping into other ships/gate until i cloaked again did this ten or so times and got it to happen 4 more times

Edit: this also happens if you just spam the cloak button

The annoying waves on the cloaking effect are back. They are a bit less ugly than before, but they are still far too visible. I'm pretty sure that reducing their opacity to a quarter of what it is currently wouldn't prevent the player from seeing his own ship (which seems to be the point, especially since the ship was visible even without waves), and it would definitely make the cloak effect prettier and more realistic.

Edit: Also, the change of "focus" for the hexes when you decloak should happen faster, to promply inform the player that you've been decloaked.

Who would equip cloak to scare someone off with a sound it makes when decloaking? Lol

Obviously there is no sound in space, and we are flying "stealthy" ships, but OP thinks different.

I assume OP have personal interest in that, maybe he was surprised by stealth bomber when ratting or something...

Nope. I've created a video that demonstrates the effect.
And now after capturing that ... A button in the Reset Settings(or Audio) tab would be fine: Reset Advanced Audio Settings, because it's a PITA to readjust that mass of sliders What?

I say that would be a texturing problem and when you undock it forces to the client to reload the ships textures. But I'm just making a wild guess.

You are right. Same happens if I try that. Another thing I noticed is, that this cloaking module sound deactivates other module sounds. After decloak my Afterburner doesn't make sounds anymore.

Considering that it's the sound of an active cloaking device, that should be intended, as no other module can be active at the same time. So the bug probably keeps th cloak's sound exlusive, muting anything else.

Even after decloak, which is what your quoted post is referring to?

He's totaly right. The cloak module sound doesn't unlock the sounds of other modules. (While decloaking itself unlocks other modules)

Blink
