Asset losses with new patch

Patches that reduce a players net worth is frustrating to say the least. After grinding and investing for seven years you reduce my corp asset value 200 billion in one patch. The industry I have enyoyed is gone.

The compilicated restructure has taken a large amount of game time away

Have dropped one account and considering the rest. My partner also is a five account player considering leaving the game. If this is your goal you are succeeding.

I have also thought that High sec industry should be safe in a 1.0 system and the risk start and grow from the .9 thru null sec.

Your information is not full. 200b lost, but how much you had? Maybe you are younger brother of Somer and you have trillions stashed. Than maybe it was possible to lose 200 bil if you made some serious mistakes.
Otherwise I can't see, how an old player could lose anything.
I had +30% to my net worth on Crius patch day literally doing nothing, and I play for 2 years compared to your 7.
