Research Question - Glitch or me being stupid?

I'm having a problem with researching my BPO. I'm in an alliance that has a POS with mobile labs in this system, and they're set to "alliance" use. I put my BPO in my corp hangar at a station in the system, but when I try to install it into an research slot in the alliance lab I get the error:

"You have been denied access for the following reason: This office does not belong to your corporation."

Obviously the office belongs to my corp because I put the BPO there and can take it out again. I installed 10 BPOs yesterday this same way and it worked fine. Anyone know what's up with this?

By any chance does the BPO require materials for research?

You can't research BPO that require materials in an alliance lab, nor do any research that produces BPC.

make sure that the lab you're trying to install the job into is set to allow alliance people ... the owning corp may have reserved one or more labs for their own use...
