HTFU. If it really upsets you, make a support ticket, as technically - he did cross a line - but you gotta get a thicker skin then that when dealing with gamers in general, and EVE players are no exception.

Save your true outrage for the really special ones, like the ones that:

* Threaten to find where you live and murder all of your cats and your girlfriend.
* Threaten to find where you live and "shoot you in the face with a hunting rifle".
* Threaten to find where you work and create a situation that will result in your termination.

Those are just a small sample of some of the really good ones I have received this month. Save your thunder for players like that :P

I have no tolerance for RL hate slurs being used repeatedly in game, but would let that one slide as it being said once just seems to be an idiotic thing said out of anger.

Goons are a mixed bunch, but are generally less homophobic than the internet gaming community as a whole (in my fairly limited experiences with them).

I doubt he's as homophobic as that single statement suggests. Beyond that I do not condone homophobic behaviour.
