Since my last thread got trolled by a moderator, I'm reopening this for discussion.
Funny that ISD didn't point out where a redundant post was made. Looks to me like
your just exploiting your authority, but hey, it's who you are. I left out the CTF part
because I got plenty of feedback on that but no feedback on this idea. I figured CTF
would be exploited if things like militia rewards were added.

[====Spacial Disturbances====]

I have been pushing for spacial disturbances like nebulas for a long time. Not cloud harvesting but instead, areas in that either spawn randomly or are included as special areas the new player constructed jump gate.

The story if used with jump gates:
During construction new eden engineers included some sort of invention decryptor either found in wormholes, null sec belts, or low sec belts. By doing this the engineers were able to construct new gate technology which allowed them to create a bridge to more then one place. These places included not only known locations but new unexplored spacial disturbances. These new areas offered hope of new resources but not without cost. Dangers lurk and instrumentation frequently goes haywire, there have even been reports of complete navigation failure for short periods of time. However, hidden new technology and travel over long distances can sometimes be achieved if chance permits.

The player jump gate user interface:
During construction, these gates can be upgraded through invention allowing them to lead to more then one place. It can lead to either two other player constructed star gates, or one p.c.s.g. and one special area. Where the gates lead can always be changed through invention.

The special areas, Spacial Disturbances:
Nothing but cloud, these nebulas can be made of dust or gas. Each one can have different levels which include different effects from flickering local to scan and navigational issues. These special areas don't have to be introduced all at once and things like new ship, structure, and module bpcs can be found in them. They also include new data and relic sites along with the new combat sites. Not only that, there is a slight chance someone else will manage to build a gate leading to the same nebula as you.

The effects:

Local disturbance-An ancient beacon seams to be partially functioning allowing for glimpses of other players at times
Example-Random people are listed in local based on a ratio and a timer. 10 players in system with10% listed every 15 minutes which eventually disappear. 1 player will appear every 15 minutes.

Directional scan disturbance-The dust seems to be having an effect on your direction scan reducing it. This can be slight to severe. 3au-13au

Scan probe disturbance-Your probes scanning strength and/or deviation are being reduced due to the reflection and adsorption of the nebula your in. I hope you bookmarked that gate or have good scanning skill.

Navigational disturbance-The nebula your in has caused your ships navigation computers to crash and they will need to be rebooted.
Example-A pulse in the nebula occurs and disrupts you ability to warp for 1-5 minutes. This occurs randomly but a frequency that can be tolerated. So if a pulse occurs you know another won't be coming for a while and if two occur at once, then you know your good to go for even longer. But, if all is been quiet for a long period of time, be expecting a release of energy which will disrupt your plans.

Future Expansion:
Because they are named spacial disturbances many different areas and items can be added. For example, a new set of smaller low mass jump gate depots can be introduced to include smaller groups and even solo players to enjoy although they may never find a way out if they don't bring another connecting depot. These could be called Spacial Disturbance Generators.

Eahm, the redundant post was yours.

CTF is a repost and just an Arena style variation, which has been discussed and beaten down every time, that's why.

And for the rest ... well, it is not clear at all, what you are suggesting , which makes it equally redundant ... if you can fix what you just copy pasted including the errors, then you might get somewhere. Otherwise it will just be locked again.

As a hint , I have no idea, if you are suggesting new system, grids (anomalies or signatures) where pilots appear or disappear (local or d-scan or probes) and so forth ... what are you talking about ... lore doesn't help if the rest is already a mess.

Dude, I don't care if it got locked, I don't care if it got me banned. That's like CCP saying we are going to help you break your game addiction by banning you off our game. Actually sorry I posted anything at all.

The rule of redundance, is actually flaved by the poor search engine within the forum, several times, ive tried to find posts where subjects ive tried suggesting, is pretty damned hard to find, but yet ISD hide behind that rule. In such cases, ISD should refere and link to post, which still is open, where the subject is a theme.

Further, i like the idea, cuz it will change the the static play... but i know for a fact that CCP will never apply any changes that alter the static enviroment, due to the fact that most players hate change and will cry their eyes out and cancel their Subscription...

btw. This thread will be locked as fast an ISD sees it, cuz the rules forbid discussion about ISD's :D

Mote: might be mentioned that this forum is not a democratic forum lol

Funny, continue this attitude and you'll probably be banned from forums for ignoring the moderators.
