Yea, its justified.

Can't hold the SWAT team responsible for their actions though, definitely not.

Would this be comparable to the US in Iraq, or no?

Everyone knows US cops are bad at trigger discipline. And accuracy...

I saw this when it happened to Jordan while live-streaming recently. Thankfully, no one was hurt or worse (sad to hear about that kid's dad getting shot, just glad it didn't end in a fatality). Honestly, it's sad that kids nowadays are stooping to such levels of idiocy all for a practical joke. Even as Marines, we would pull some good old fashion pranks on each other, but never something like this. Sometimes, it could get you into some trouble with higher command or the authorities, but we never did anything that put people's lives at risk like that. We would be stupid, just not that stupid. You just don't **** around with that kind of risk.

Under the very best of circumstances, it's a potentially lethal scenario that can get innocent civilians and police officers killed or wounded, a major embarrassment for law enforcement, and a wasteful drain on resources and emergency responders. People just need to wake up once and a while and think further than two seconds ahead.

Sorry for the rant, it just blows my mind that people can be that careless and clueless. I am glad to hear that law enforcement and the courts are stepping up to the "prosecute to the fullest extent of the law" motto on this kind of crap.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

When you start sentencing pimply faced boys, with permanent uncontrollable woodies in their pants, who have less common sense than a 8-year-old girl..... (Which is what everyone one of us was, at some point). Then yer frikking society gone damn haywire. Come on America, cowboy up ye pusses. Take care of your own kids and stop freaking out about the tarrarist threat. It's bad when it happens, but it's kind of random, like tornadoes, hurricanes, West Nile, and sinkholes.

Take your hotdamn random chances and leave people alone-- that's the Muriken way.

You have no idea. =\ Most of the silly dudes barely even practice proper firearm discipline, my friend has friends who are in the local police force, and we go out target shooting every now and again, I can not believe how many of them rest their fingers on the trigger. Two of them use Glocks as an off duty carry to. Q.Q

Just love the militarization of police forces in the western world, catching up with 3rd world countries in corruption, lack of intelligence, and just pure evil.

I smell a hidden "grr goons" in your post. Big smile

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Who knows, if this practice picks up maybe society at large will actually start to question why every small town in the states needs its own APC, grenade launchers (ostensibly for tear gas only), reconnaissance drones, etc.

At the very least, police organizations might actually try and verify their information before breaking into a private household and pointing millitary-grade assault weapons at unarmed civilians.

On the other hand, that's probably just wishful thinking. Roll

CCP will soon nerf the drones. Sad
