If you can choose any 3 ships up to and including battleships, with any fitting on each, what is the best setup to warp into gate campers and mop the floor with them?

Active tanked Battleships (hyperion) or Active tanked command ships (sleipnir, eos) do well but be advised that:

a) it depends on how many ppl and in what they are gatecamping

b) you need to keep in mind that you have to draw them in first since if all 3 of you jump at once 90% of the time they see that they can't take you on & warp/crash gate or they decloak falconsX/warp in logi... either way intel and baiting are your friends

2 Hyperions or Maelstroms + 1 Nano hac (something like ishtar or such).

The BS warp in first at the gate at 0 and start mopping up stuff. Hac warps in afterwards at range and can be used to clear logi and ewar ships that the BS can't reach.

This is what I'd go for as well, the main thing you need to watch out for when breaking up a gatecamp is possible logi/falcon which would screw up any short-range brawling active tanked ship (which is what you want to warp in first) having something like a couple Ishtars with long range sentry dps means that you can pressure logi as well as stop any Falcon shenanigans.
