I am reassured by the swift and categoric denials from Mittens and the other Goons on the CSM that they do not condone botting and have never knowingly harboured botters within Goonswarm

You can only answer for yourself, not the 6k+ other goons. If you say that you can your opinion will forever after mean **** all to anyone with a brain.

I only quoted because he used a fallacy that the article did not use.

The only way goons could refute it is posting a link to the botting policy, timestamped prior to the accusations. And that would mean the policy is not to bot/RMT, not that it doesn't happen.

Wont matter. The mods wont moderate them even for TROLLING on the forums, you think they care about anything else?

Though I do also have to point out the huge number of ppl apologizing to CCP for CCP failing just cause they admitted it

It's good to see people still hate goons so much; I was starting to worry we weren't the evil bad guys anymore. Also, dude from Raiden., how does it feel to know that your supercap advantage is getting nerfed by goons?

That's kind of the whole problem with the whole botting issue. If CCP can't even figure out an easy way to catch and punish botters in their own game, how are large alliances supposed to come up with a decent way to handle the situation?

The last you thing you want is to have to deal with people accusing other people in the alliance, or other blues, and having to deal with that constantly from a leadership perspective. "X is a botter!"..."No I'm not!" would get old after about two days.

I think that's what I've always taken most alliances position on botting to be. If CCP can't be bothered to enforce the rules, why should individual alliances have to take up that responsibility?
