You guys should put descriptions of who you are in your bio.

Maybe a link to blogs you've written and stuff.

I really don't want to know anything personal about devs, that way I can bash and hate on them as much as I want without any moral consequences.

~Badposter since FOOOOREEEEEVAAAAAR~ I come back after 2 years to THIS? ~Now 4 years apparently

OP ask CCP to describe themselves in the bio when he himself has nothing in his bio to describe himself...

I'm not asking for a life story.

I believe one CCP Dev introduced himself once like that

"Hi, I'm Blue"

Who is CCP Bios and why do they feel the need to hide?

You, too, can be a Solid Gold dancer.

CCP Bios sits in the back, and quietly runs the office so the rest of the Devs can focus on higher level stuff.

Good idea.

Here's my bio:

At first I was born and then I slowly grew up (too slowly some would say). Went through school like everyone and was sort of bored by the whole thing most of the time. At one point in my life I owned 52 star wars figures and 8 He Man dudes (not recently).

I've studied opera singing, done some stage acting, worked on a shrimp trawler north of Iceland, chained through poopy diapers when I worked in a kindergarten, carried heavy things for bad pay when I worked as a grunt in construction, taught Taekwondo to kids (my students would have totally wiped the floor with these guys), dabbled in MMA and Jiu Jitsu in my spare time (spent more time watching it than practicing) studied philosophy for 3 months in university (so you should rather go to Xhagen for philosophical discussions). Fell in love with/got hooked on computer games when my mom got a clunky IMB computer for her job when I was 10 back in 1987, finally stumbled upon a job in gaming and haven't looked back since. Was a GM for years and dabbled in all sorts of promotional stuff for CCP on the side until I recently moved over to Community.

That pretty much sums up my life thus far. Oh, yeah...and I've also spent a bunch of time on Facebook and stuff.

Tbh Guard, when you went "At first I was born and then slowly grew up" I was expecting an epic tale involving playgrounds, a couple of guys who weren't totally kosher, a taxi and a suitcase.

I'm surprised you didn't take the opportunity.

He didn't add any of that to his bio. Cry

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I remember someone saying once that they should get the rest of the people they work with the put their job title (or dev team) in their forum sig (eg like ccp guard has). I could look for the thread but it might take awhile. That sort of thing has been suggested before.

He's doing the heavy lifting for you this time.
