It is 2014, a part of the user base will finally arrive to devices without physical keyboard.

Two simple use cases:
Being able to configure the game to start in window mode from the launcher (or from inside the game without keyboard).
Reason: when you play in full screen mode, you have no access to virtual keyboards running in other windows.
My preferred solution would be to enable the game menu via a neocon button

Being able to leave the game without keyboard and without having to press CTRL-ALT-DEL
Reason: because it feels unclean to end a program via task manager...
We had this in the past. I remember selecting "leave the station" dozens of times when I actually wanted to leave the game. A fatal mistake during station hugging :-)

On the internet, you can be whatever you want to be. It is amazing that so many people chose to be stupid.
