Cloak is useless when you are the only person on 20 jumps range, like I am now. Can it be optional effect btw!

It would still make for a great LOL moment to know the other guy gets this visual when you drop cloak. Have a dozen Sin and Redeemer all drop cloak at once, 3K from a Mackinaw just for the effect.

Just saw it live in test.

Good direction, but needs a lot of tweeking. The cloaked ship texture does not scale with zoom distance and it is weird. Almost seems like the sprites that consume the ship should also be hexagonal. but over all don;t seem to fit.

So... the Advanced Cloaking skill will now reduce the time it takes for cloak activation to take effect? Meaning it will reduce the time folks are able to visually see you before you become completely invisible? And cloak activation time is dependent on ship size? And interceptors get a bit of a buff to how visible/shiny the cloaking animation appears on-screen to help with manual interceptions of cloaky ships? And are the rumors about a Rapid Fire Cloak true?

Also, why can't forum moderation have such nice shiny effects?

I, for one, welcome our shiny hex skin fade outs of moved/deleted posts/threads from the forums and cloaky ISD overlords.
