Eve Second Decade Collectors Edition Preorder Tattoos in NES store

After a longer period of absence I recently returned and found out that my collection of rare sleeve tattoos from the CE preorder dropped to about 10% of their original value, because CCP released these previously rare collectible items for a PITTANCE in their cash shop AGAIN. Its not like this is the first time (Ishukone shirt, red/gold jacket anyone?) or that there arent enough other tattoos already finished for release. So why CCP, why do you mess with my assets?
Hate that stuff.

Btw only 2 of 4 were released in the NES, the other two still go for 1Bil+, seems really damn unfair to people who chose the now worthless ones. Shocked

I'm pretty sure that the pre-order bonus stated that it wasn't a exclusive. just a timed exclusive.

This. They've been very careful not to label anything as exclusive since that stupid kerfuffle over the shirt.

Maybe it wasnt labelled as such, but does it change the fact that it really is an unnecessary **** move and actually hurts (the wallet of) some people? There is a buttload of finished apparell and other tattoos ready to be released for the NES store, so why backhandedly destroy the already established market value of previously released items? Collecting stuff is one fun part of the sandbox and as a passionate collector I feel actually let down by CCP, when time and again my assets loose value just because noone over there cared what was on the market and how a cash store release will impact that stuff. This time I lost value worth 5 months gametime in PLEX, so this is not nothing, you feel me? Blink

P.S. Red/Gold Executor Coat dropped again to 10% value after it slowly recovered from the last time CCP released it without checking their then NEX store (that was actually the same patch where the Ishukone shirt was seeded in the NEX)

I think fashion collectors should be warned by some of the past actions with fashion items. i remember the christmas gifts, when we got 2 items from the nes store, both costing several hundred Aurum at that time with an 95% value loss within a day for former buyers.

I am curious if the Monocle will hit the store again in the future. CCP, when you do so, please remember that the old price was 12000 ("twelve thousand") Aurum!!!!

What´s aurum? I spent 800M ISK on mine in the market, use real Spacemoney :)

Not all of the pre-order tatoos are available in the NES. Still unavailable: Drone, and Nature.
