I would love nothing more than to drop kick a spider that big.

And then I would feel horribly, horribly guilty.

This has prompted me to try and set it up amongst our Halloween stuff this year. We have a dachshund that i think would suit this perfectly.

I'm figuring a small unobtrusive stake in the front yard with high grade fishing line attached to the stake and her collar. That way she can't go far, but everyone can see her roaming amongst the fog in the yard off to the side, and wouldn't get hurt by a surprised kid kicking her.. (Yes, i have a fog machine running). Fog shoots out under our garage door and covers the entire front of our house and the pathway is very vaguely lit. I'm out there anyway dressed up as a Wraith and roaming so i would always see her and be close. Or have my wife dress up as a Spider Queen out there amongst it.

I may even set up a remote camera and try to video it to get some of the reactions now because the kids that come here call my house the "Scary House" every Halloween anyway, so why disappoint? Twisted

Thanks a lot OP. This has seriously got the old mind turning over for this years setup.

That was my exact thought as well. I think that is most any prank. I have a natural affinity for kicking things. But still friggan epic to watch others get the beejeezees scared out of them.

I would have shot it.

And that would have broken my heart.

Let's leave pranks for the kids. Besides it's even more entertaining when kids think a giant spider is out to get them.

If we really want to prank adults but expect gunfire, use technology.
