Reimburstment on the loss on large medium and small bubbels

So why did ccp reimburst the ppl that paided the wrong starting price for starting jobs (was also a bug in that same patch)? Same problem it seems to me.......

Edit: It kind of makes sense in a way.

I doubt he made any as if it was just showing the materials at 62 mil but creating them just used 10 mil he would have known.

His reference to thinking the change would be permanent in the opening post, means he would have tried to buy as many as possible as stockpiling shouldn't be an issue if he managed to buy them cheap enough with regards to 62 mil.

He would have had to pay more than the normal costs to fill large orders as quickly as possible. Not a problem when you think you're going to get more back when you sell them again.

Which is probably why he feels cheated as he based his decisions on erroneous data supplied by CCP via a bug.


If that is what happened only he can say.


Edit 2: Changed 10k and 62k, to 10 mil and 62 mil. Left huge in even though it no longer makes sense in light of the changes, but the post has been quoted already.

its not 10k but 10 mil. I bought around 500 and exspect to make loss off 30 mil a pice. That is around 14 bil. So i stockpiled good yes. Bought at 40 mil average. So its not projected profit loss but actual isk that i had loss

In the original reimburstment requist to ccp i calculated everything that i made and lost. That ammount i asked. So think that would be fair.
