I know, read it again afterwards and do agree that you didn't say it like that, sorry :)

So can we get a Wilhelm Yell in EVE or what? Put them in the Gallente Stations instead of the woman chanting which seems to generate so many threads on GD.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

it's continuing mission, to seek out new sounds, and new pieces of music, and play them in ways no man has done before.

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

Recognize any of these libraries? Aside from the most popular New Folder(2) library.
All licensed of course.

I use them for radio commercial production and imaging.

What I would like to know is, where did you get the "music" that plays in the background when in the Stain region.

The best I can describe that sound is it's like a ghost trying to hump a saxophone.

I left the client on with the sound up to go do something else and when that sound hit I thought some entity was in my house. Shocked Good thing I was on the toilet.

Yesterday i was watching 'Under Siege', one of those generic '90s hollywood action movies, when a helicopter was shot out of the sky using some kind of RPG. No big deal, right? well no, because when the rocket was fired i heard, to my amazement, the same sound i am so familiar with whenever i'm flying my RLM caracal. the RPG used the same soundclip as the RLM module firing a missile! the sounds were identical! so this got me thinking, where do CCP get the soundclips they use in-game from?

CCP, please change the small and medium autocannons' sound effect to the old Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far M2 .50 cal heavy machinegun sound.... I crave to hear that wonderful thumping noise that always meant digital dead fascists, back in the late-90's.....

BTW if CCP is looking to add farts and burping to their library I'd be glad to help. I'm 3/4 into a pint of stale porter and quite ripe tonight.

Music in EVE is all homemade by CCP RealX. :)
Mostly out of pints and farts, I'm sure.

Well pass a word to RealX that I for one like the music. Back in my youth, back when Rockford Files was still airing prime time, I used to go to the planetarium and they played music that was very much derived from the kind of futuristic shows of the 70s - lots of synth and atmospheric. (note for you kids:) This predates the "new age" genre.

The music of the game captures that feeling well. One of the good things about there being more smaller expansions is we get new music. I'm hoping there will be a new release of the soundtrack since apparently that has not been done in a long time. Yeah I know, Soundcloud. But sometimes something is good enough that paying some $$ for a higher quality copy is well worth it.

can be a bit hard to decipher the names, I mean, "thunder" could be any thunder library.
but the movie studio ones; warner, lucas and those are quite popular.

But Hollywood Edge is of course, the best stuff around (IMHO)
Mechanical Morphs, co-produced with Richard Devine, is really good - used that one a lot- none of the sounds in there are good on their own really, but they are so well made, they can be ripped apart and made into almost anything. It's really nice craftsmanship.

The monsters and creatures one, I'm pretty sure I have heard around various studios and productions. most likely the same one.

Are there more audioclips being added to the soundcloud, if ever?
