Am I allowed by CCP to have their software on two different computers so I can play Eve at two different locations???

Yup, I use my desktop at home and my laptop when i'm away somewhere for a few days.

You might want to send a petition to the GMs explaining that you will be using 2 different computers for the same account regularly. It may look like account sharing and you don't want to be banned for that.

I regularly use different computers with no issues. You're not paying a per computer licence with Eve.

The only time I can see this being a problem is these two computers being located far apart. For example at 0800 you log in from Texas then at 0900 log in from California.

its a non-issue.. until you claim that you have stuff missing.. then the logs will show something that looks like account sharing..

Then its an issue.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It's no problem whatsoever. You can expect to go through an extra verification step during log in when logging in from a different IP address (type the name of a character on that account), but that's all.

You can never change your computer for eve......keeping playing on a laptop from 2008 is becoming increasingly difficult!

Only if you manage to cross continents faster than commercial airliners.

Known to be a problem for VPN users.

Example: my office network is known to route some traffic through the U.S., France, or Australia. The WiFi is Canada though.

You'll be fine, I've been to a handful of countries in the past 6 months and logging into my account in each one, and sometimes at home via remote desktop. The only thing that has happened is when logging into account management from a new IP they will ask for the name of a character on the account.
