EVE client does nothing after hitting "play"??

if u don't want to wait for patch and play now:

run Applications/Utilities/Terminal

in terminal:

export COMPUTERNAME=MAC
/Applications/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider

Confirmed, running through terminal works:

Open terminal
Copy paste the following:

export COMPUTERNAME=`hostname -f`;open /Applications/EVE\ Online.app

Amazing, end user work faster than devs.

I know why it happened. I have just reactivated my Eve account :( Just loads of my bad luck spreading to you guys.
And btw, I don't have launcher working either, it looks very weird, like html page format or something.

Linux friends.... This has worked for me!!!

For those who have installed through PlayOnLinux:

1) Start PlayOnLinux
2) Choose "Configure" for Eve Online and select "Miscellaneous" tab
3) In the tab find "Command to exec before running the program" enter the text:

export COMPUTERNAME='...'

4) Start Launcher as normal

So what actually worked for me, is when I opened my activity monitor I found that I had 18 eve clients running, not even joking! I ended the processes for them all and was able to log in again no problem.
