P.S. Keep in mind that I am new still and dont have a lot of SP to work with. Thanks again...

Honestly, I use a Kestral for it.

Alot of people underestimate it. Stick a AB on it, point and web and you can flip any cans you like and kill any drones those hulks at you easy.

I have something like this:
Highs - ROcket Launchers
Mids - AB, Scram, Web (You can put a shield extender if you like so you can tank a bit more)
Lows - DCU, BCU

As for targets, alot of it comes to luck. Try going though the belts in high-pop systems. Look for lone hulks or new player as they make easier targets.

Once you think you found somebody though there are a couple of things to look out for -
Corpies in system (add their corp to contacts and see if they are in local)
Do they have all 3 strips running, some people set up bait hulks and cant fit all 3 so this should send alarm bells.

Other than that its go out and learn - thats how I learnt to can flip just went and did it. Now I leach others in my corp!

Also, choose your target very carefully, because some of the corps and alliances in New Eden hold grudges for a looooong time.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

I have not experienced anything which would suggest mining corps are very good at pursuing grudges, however.

Mining corps/industry alliances don't have the teeth to really do anything to you, even years down the line. Flip away good sir!

The Punisher was my favorite ship to can flip with back in the day. People aren't as afraid of them as they are Rifters so you are liable to get more fights, but it is still a very capable frigate.

I used to can flip... but I did it differently than some of the people here are suggesting with a different end in mind. It's been a while, so please correct me if this no longer works.

I'd get into a shuttle and go around heavily mined systems and bookmark all the jetcans, labeling them 1, 2, 3, and so forth. Then I would get into a badger II and warp to them all in series. As soon as I came out of warp I would immediately warp to the next can. While I was aligning for warp I would fill my hold with whatever I could grab. As soon as the hold is full you dock, dump, and undock enrought to can 4, continuing your chain. I was so fast I almost never got caught. However, at the time there were a lot of botters that couldn't react fast enough, so I made my dough on them. That may have changed.

With little SP, that was a decent way for me to string a few isk together. If I had it to do again, I would do ninja looting in low sec instead. Better ISK/hr.

Signatures should be used responsibly...

I can tell you from experience they don't act on their grudges.

All the time and corps/alliances/etc. I've worked on, only one has ever taken any sort of action. They formed a shell corp for some of their people to join and had that corp dec us. After about 5 minutes of research we realized who that corp really was and decced their main corp. LOLs ensued as they all ran like little carebears to NPC corps and their "war" corp docked up after getting whacked a few times. :P

Every other miner org that threatened dire consequences never followed up with actual action.
