The NA timezone went do probably because school is starting, that it's the end of summer Labor Day just happened, so everyone was out camping, and so forth.


Also the rate of Americans having a second job is increasing, so that may factor into it. Since the Unemployment rate has been steadily dropping it would make sense that most Americans are now working a lot more than they did back in 2009-2012ish. That would be my thoughts.


Alost EvE's most popular time seems to be around the two to noonish depending on what part of the US you live in. So if you work or go to school you miss out on most of the action. =P

Funny. A while back people were blaming the perceived lower numbers of players on the fact that it was summer and everyone was busy doing summer things. Now it's being blamed on the fact that summer is almost over and people are going back to doing whatever they normally do.

The PCU is down across the board.
I have stated many times what in my opinion are the reasons.

But frankly, they are as irrelevant as anyone else's.
Let's give this about 4-6 more weeks, and then we can compare the 2013 Sept numbers to the post Crius Sept numbers, and we will by then have a decent data set to start comparisons.

Maybe some of the high sec industrialists will come back. Maybe some of the uber-bored null sec line members will come back. Maybe some of the wormhole guys gutted by the mass changes and extra wormholes will also adapt and come back.

We will know more by late Sept / early Oct.

Of course, by then, the overhaul to invention will have been implemented, and we will have a whole new set of changes that could be affecting the PCU. One side-effect of the 6 week development cycle is no longer can the effects of any one release be examined as a standalone issue.

There were also third party ISP issues preventing a great deal of the US east coast from logging in for the better part of a week. Nearly made me unsub, may still if it occurs again within the next 30 days (running off of PLEX currently), so I'm sure that's part of it too.

Earlier today, the Dixon Mining Guild and the Butz Manufacturing Corporation formed a coalition.

It's hard to tell if there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the Dixon-Butz Alliance.

People get fed up after 10 years and this game still stinks in so many ways. The status quo shuts down any creative gameplay ideas like what the mobile scan inhibitor originally was. Then CCP Rise comes in and ***** all over a pirate faction battleships that people have been training for yours for no good reason whatsoever.

Star citizen comming out providing the gameplay EVE people have been dreaming about for years while CCP creates ****** side projects that fail instead of making their game great.

also dumb mechanics like scamming and suicide ganking go unchecked, rewarding sociopaths and internet gutter trash who don't do real pvp. Disgusting.
