Map is taking ages to open

Mine hangs on building model for a good 20 seconds. On my alts whom aren't in an alliance, the map loads instantly.

I believe it is solely tied to being in an alliance, as logging on the other alt clients with this character induces the same horrible loading time.

10second load time for me. I assumed it was the time needed to load all the statistics etc but shouldn't they be loaded on demand?

Maybe it has something to do with the jump bridge network being shown in the map?

Sometimes map does not open at all, Most of the time it takes ages to open

Should be noted this bug only occurs on the Star Map, not with the Solar System Map.

Seems to be a lot better after the 1.0.1 patch =)

Unfortunately I get this on both. Also I am in an alliance so maybe there is something to that.

Had the same problem since crucible.

Cleared my cache today and now it loads instantly, I hope it last.

I believe the performance of the map loading is being addressed in an upcoming patch. It should be live on the singularity test server.

Seems fixed now. On opening, the Map now loads in a few secs. Way to go CCP! Thankyou Cool
