I probably don't need to mention that official documents can be forged and right now I am sceptical. But in any case, this page of what appears to be an RSS document has been making rounds on GalNet and speculation is rife on the usual conspiracy groups, but also among regular people who are simply curious.

I can't say I'm at all impressed with the Republic Security Services, if this leak proves genuine, but nevertheless I suggest watching with a degree of cautious anticipation.

It's the RSS. It's as likely to be incompetence as it is deliberate. You can never really tell with the RSS.

So if I were to take a picture of an unreleased book and upload it, I've then leaked the book? I don't get the significance of this. What's the source? Is the actual document contents out there? Is this the internal RSS protocol for how to fix a light fixture?

Knowing the sheer amount of ridiculously convoluted documentation of the most hilariously mundane things these organizations manufacture, I can't say this looks all too intriguing.

RSS is also quite the unscrupulous gang. For all we know they are counting on us to start throwing conspiracy theories all over the place as one does barrage rounds to confound us of their true plan.

Or they are snickering away at our antics the leak has caused while flogging the one responsible with length of rusty chain.

Judging by information on the cover page alone it seems likely to be related to that short-lived Skarkon-eqsue incident in Konora some years back.

I'm sure the report will prove to be an amusing read. Assuming the rest gets leaked, that is.

Presuming that the image isn't a fake - which is a large hurdle in and of itself - it's analogous to a treasure hunter's map or a scrap thereof. The numerical references, in particular, are uniquely informative in this sense as is consideration of the reasons behind why (and by whom) such a map might have been released some five years after it was last of immediate relevance.

For these reasons alone it's as worthy of speculation and discussion as any of the other banal threads on the IGS.

Given RSS's penchant for incompetence, I'm surprised the leaked page wasn't more recent.

There are many ifs related to this document.
