100m loan, no collateral

Not sure if anybody even bothers to open a topic with such an unattractive subject, but in case somebody is actually reading this, I might as well give my best shot.

I am a newbie. So far my Eve experience has been completing the 45 career agent missions and Sisters of Eve missions (not all of them. About 15 of them so far).

The Sisters of Eve missions gave me an opportunity to jump 6-7 gates for some missions, so while I was doing that I took a look at the markets here in Eve.

Now I should say in real life I deal in foreign exchange markets daily, so hopefully I have at least some basic knowledge concerning Eve markets as well.

Obviously there are a lot of opportunities to make ISK here.

You need money to make money though. At the moment I have 6.2m ISK which seems like a nice amount by all means, but even 20% weekly ROI gives me just peanuts. (I know how much the best ships cost)

So that's why I am looking to get a loan. I can't tell you my expected return on a weekly basis, because I have not tried it yet. But as I mentioned 20% per week before, I feel like that is a nice random number to aim for (per week with 100m).

Given all that, I am looking for a 100m loan for 1 month with 30% interest and no collateral.. Or if you're willing to gamble, we can split the profits after a month.

Of course there is a possibility I fail to get 30% return, in which case I will give you every single ISK I have, but I honestly can't see how I can have a net loss.

I already have an excel spreadsheet to help me along and for some commonly traded items the profit margin is high enough to basically eliminate any risk of ruin.

If I succeed, I am hoping to build a relationship with a possible investor.

And yes, I know I could get 8 of these loans if I buy a Plex. This is the first MMO I have ever played and I have nothing against the subscription fee. But I feel that buying PLEX to advance in the game defeats the purpose of the game. So I would rather write a wall of text than spend €2 (or whatever) to kick start my enterprise here in Eve,

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here or send me a PM in game (you can probably do that, right?)

Take care :)

If buying a plex tk advance in the game defeats the object of playing the game. Thenwhat is the difference in llow ing the same isk....

If yo7 want to full experience of making your own isk in game then do that. If you want a leg on onto the rout tk making billions.
I would suggest you drop a few quid get a plex sell it 800m later your well on your way.

Well for me getting a loan from another player and buying a PLEX are two completely different things.

And yes, I could mine in my new yellow ship and earn a million or so every hour. But for me getting the full experience means to be as efficient as possible from the get go.

How many items do you already have on your spreadsheet?

As for the markets have opportunity to make isk, this is true but as long as you understand a few basics.

i would be interested in investing but a couple of things raise my eyebrow's.

First the account is only a few days old. What skills do you have to increase your profitability. (Trade, Accounting, Broker Relations etc)

Secondly if you have only been playing for a couple of days, what is you game plan for returning the investment. (station or region trading)

and finally, without any collateral and with little experience why should anyone invest.

Thanks for the questions. As I already got the money I needed, I won't go into full detail answering them.

As far as skills go, I'm training Trade and Retail. I feel like these help me out more in the beginning than accounting or broker relations.

I will do station trading and concentrate on items that have higher profit margins. 100m and the skills I have, means that I can trade in about 20 items. So basically low value items that can give me relatively high ROI.

Anyway, I will update how I got on in a month and if it goes well and I maybe might want to use a loan again to help me along, we can talk some more :)

Thanks for the interest though.

My guess:

OP is not intending to scam, and will repay the loan. However, this may not be from trading income, but from PVE income after the OP makes almost nothing on trade.

if play the forex market IRL, then you should understand that investments are ONLY made based on ROI and the proof that you CAN get some kind of that ROI.

post logs that show you're making over 10% as a newb doing missions or mining or whatever.

Also we need to know WHAT you're going to use the money for overall. what's the collateral and penalty if you fail? that's important too.

it feels like everyone treats EVE loans like a simplistic thing. it's called spreadsheets in space for a reason -_-'

Join a corp, brave newbies, test, any corp that helps new people.

Trying to face this game by yourself, specially in the beginning, is crushing.

With the help of such a corp you can, and I'm serious, make that amount in an afternoon even with low skills just by salvaging and looting what others leave behind.

100m isn't a hell of alot but it's the principal. I am having the same problem with one of my smaller investments. It's just plain rude to not payback or even inform you about it. There could be a genuine reason for not paying u back.
