How do you get in a freighter produced in a large assembly array? I cant put it in the maintenance array because "ship is not assembled". I can not assemble it in the large array because they is not enough space available. It is the only item in the array. Is there something I am missing?

I'm not exactly an expert in manufacturing, but aren't capital sized ships constructed in XL arrays?

A "Large Ship Assembly Array" Can construct Batleships, Freighters and Industrial Command Ships.

"Capital Ship Assembly Array" Can construct Battleships, Carriers, Dreadnaughts, Freighters, Industrial Command Ships and Capital Industrial Ships.

I believe you are thinking of Supercapital Assembly Array.

How come you don't have enough space?

A large assembly array has space of 18,500,500 m3; the biggest freighter, Province, is 18,500,000 m3 big. Therefore, you should have at least 500 m3 left.

Assemble them in the large assembly array then move it to SMA. -> Problem solved.

You can over-fill arrays without losing anything.

Of course a LSAA has 18.5m m3 capacity, which is plenty of room for an assembled freighter.

Example: LSAA has 0 m3 free. Deliver freighter manufacturing job over-fills array. Assemble freighter over-fills array some more. Drag the assembled ship to SMA.

Note: To build a jump freighter at a POS, the freighter must be built at the POS and not assembled.

how far away is the maintenance array>?

try using an orca or a nestor - any ship with a SMA and get close to the LSAA and then choose assemble, you can also board it from the LSAA, you don't have to put it in the SMA

Also, if you are making JF, I wouldn't assemble, there is a bug due to the fact the T2 BPC are trying to use assembled ships in people hangars and stuff that a ship must be packaged to be a input for something, but you can't package a ship in a pos...so catch 22
