This proposal would eliminate overview clutter if a lot of ships that are currently not piloted are in your overview, this can be the case in WH posses as well as when doing probe scans in a system, you can eliminate un piloted ships from showing up and knowing how many hostile pilots are active or at the very least, logged in. This could be very important for WHs, since local is does not show anyone.

+1 would be awesome. We had the same problem you described just the other way around. Where we staged from a pos and we had so many ships ready to use in it that we had a hard time to distinguish between our own unmanned ships inside the pos and neutrals around the pos. Since you can't filter them out.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

No. Part of the ~mystery~ of operating in wormholes is the lack of knowledge of other entities in the hole, piloted ship or not. If you're unwilling to do the due diligence of scanning down ships in a hole to check if they're piloted or not, you shouldn't be in a wormhole in the first place.

Besides this, you're asking for a sweeping change to the d-scanner/probing in every other region of the game with no regard to the consequences of it.
