How do you work around not having stations and contracts?

I'm trying to find the best way to receive items from corp members at a pos, under an umbrella of security and accountability. In wormhole space I seem to have to go without contracts as well as containers in hangers. For now, the best available solution seems to be receiving one-way drops. But, I want to know who is dropping what, how much, and when, etc. How am I meant to go about this? How do you manage such things without easy access to stations?

You have 7 Hangars that you can use for things like this. Setup 1 for public access, a communal division if you will, and then setup the others for restricted access. Allow your non-director level members to drop items in there but prevent them from viewing or taking from the division. Then it's up to them to send you an in-game mail with item description and quantities as well as the specific division they dropped the items in.

We use small freight containers for loot/salvage. They are 5000 m3. If you want to sell loot to the corp you put that loot into one of the containers (cleverly named Salvage#1, Salvage#2, etc) and then drag that container into a buyback hangar, then send a mail about it.

We mine and harvest gas too. For that, we do not use containers in our hangars, as they just take up a lot of space. Instead we have a bunch of Enormous Freight Containers in our POS named ORE 1, ORE 2, and so on. People who are harvesting can drop a bookmark into the freight can with their name so everyone knows who is using that container. Yes, someone could steal your ore/gas; but if they were going to steal that, they'd also steal your ships from the SMAs and all the random crap in public hangar and so forth. Don't worry about ore/gas theft, worry about convenience.

I think people may camp my system in cloakies more than they would otherwise if there weren't a lot of freight containers on their Dscan named ORE 1..x but that's life. Name them something more clever if you want.

Oh yeah, the larger freight containers, be careful where you launch them. If you put them inside your POS shield you will not be able to scoop, move, or destroy them without turning off your shield or getting a freighter into your wormhole, as only freighters have a big enough cargo hold to scoop them. I suggest you do not put them near your SMAs as ships will bump them.

This is essentially what I've got happening now but I feel like there must be room for problems arising. Someone reporting false quantities would presumably be caught out by others who aren't, I guess, but I can't help thinking I should try to do better than this.

Oh.. too late. That was yesterday, haha. The can that shall forever sit awkwardly a little too centrally located in the pos. But overall, some good info, cheers!

Yep what XGA duke said.
a lot of this come down to players being honest and that means you fly in whs with the bros you trust.
another option is people dont sell to the corp and just personally deal with there own gas/ore/pi. if the corp wants to take a cut tho, your gonna have to just trust people.

No trust needed for buyback. Just have a mailing list so when they have something to sell to corp they dump it in a can an d drop it into a hangar noone can take from. Everyone can see the mails so it keeps people honest.

If you are talking about hauling in items for other members it just has to be a trust system
