agreed with the OP, game is great and CPP devs puts great effort into it, and you can feel their passion.
Even though you can t agree with every design decision, you cannot deny they care. I just hope they wont be dragged down by financial issues they have no control over.

CCP doesn't exactly have a good record of strategic decisions in the past. If they invested only a small part of the money that was directed into WoD and Dust, into improving key areas of EVE the game could be so much better (new player retention and sov endgame comes to mind).

If you can do better, apply for CCP positions. :)
It's easy to criticise someone for trying something ambitious & failing. Yet we all love to watch the olympic gymnasts, the winter games, snow boarding competitions, where people try huge tricks and bail.

So I think CCP are doing a good job on the whole. There are tiny things I dislike, tiny things I feel they do wrong, but the majority of the time, they are on the right track, even if they do odd changes I don't approve of.

CCP needs all the emergent gameplay they can get their hands on. Because lord knows all we are in for are little tweaks for the near future.

Which begs the question what are we paying them for? If you take a critical look at their track record of decision making one is reminded of Nero fiddling while Rome burned. DUST and WOD, two games where it was their responsibility to create content...Meanwhile they partied like Rock Stars and strutted like they were the bad boys of the MMO world.

News Flash, image only lasts so long. That time is up and it is now time to produce.

Want ideas CCP? Go to the Suggestion box. I will say although EvE players in general suffer from battered woman syndrome (CCP won't screw us over this time, they love us) they are otherwise very intelligent. It wouldn't hurt to listen to them.
