Hello.
I've been going quite OK at PvP training this week, and I feel like I need to step it up to a Battlecruiser. Now, the thing is that I have my eyes set on a Battlecruiser and a Battleship (<-- for the future). I've narrowed my search down to Caldari, Amarr and Gallente. The ships I'm interested in are:

Brutix vs Drake
Raven vs Megathron
Harbringer vs Drake vs Brutix

Which one of them is the best for PvP?

Battlecruisers are TERRIBLE for PvP unless it's an Oracle.

And if you're asking these questions I seriously doubt you're ready to fly a BS in PvP

it reaaaallyyyy depends on what kind of pvp, highsec, low, 0.0 blobbing etc.

For lowsec for instance battleships are in general total crap, Battlecruisers are meh at best. hacs, cruisers etc are much better due to their speed for us. but 0.0 would of course be totally different.

so.. more info needed

at the moment, drones/hybrid turrets are very strong and missiles are very weak. generally speaking, brutix > drake

same for BS. megathron < raven

Harbinger is fine. I would prefer the Brutix to it though.

Combat battlecruisers are underpowered, but are by no means terrible.

For Pvp drones is the way to go. Best pvp BC is currently Myrmydon followed by prophecy. Best BS are Dominix and Armageddon. Generally speaking Gallente drone boats considered to be the strongest, but Amarr are close. Caldari atm are very week, because they have very few drones and shield tank is not strong as armor tank.

Thats bs. Drones can be shot, and drone BCs dont have the spare room bs and some HACs have. Armor cane is quite viable, dual XASB cyclone is a beast, drake is abit overshadowed now but still solid. Brutix is probably my favorite brawling BC.

p.s., geddon isn't concidered good beceause of its drones, but more of the neut bonus
