Blah Blah Blah.... I understand the entire business model of making ends meet regarding a business, but a damn $20 (USD) beer (domestic swill or imported good or microbrew goodness) is just stretching it.

Roppongi used to be the gaijin ghetto of Tokyo. And also the place people went find a quick hook-up. Or where girls went to be recruited for porn films. White foreign guys claimed to be actors, screenwriters or lawyers, and not the regular English teachers they were. African guys claimed to be rastafarians from Jamaica or hip-hop artists from New York or L.A. If you wanted to lose faith in humanity quick, Roppongi was a good place to go. But the embassies' upscale housing was around there, so there were also posh places around. Might be different now, that was a long time ago.

I wonder if the notorious gaijin dive Gas Panic is still around? Or the more upscale but equally sleazy meat market Charleston?

u lot lot are a buch of frikkin lightweights ! me and missus just stopped off at monte carlo for our 20 year wedding anniverseary ....try getting a pint for less that 17 euros ... moan moan moan ! get a grip lads !




ok ill admit ...we only had two pints each ....we are currently in the process of framing the bar receipts


fkn awesome place to go mind ....and to think Iceland was frikkin expensive

No, it's just some places in NYC are astoundingly overpriced at times. Take "The Oak Room" for instance.
