Need fitting help: High speed exploration Altron

Basically, I want to be able to zip around and explore and mostly avoid notice or being attacked. I'd like to try and be as hard to target as possible and as dodge-capable as possible, and just get out of bad situations. Also: getting where I want to go really quickly. Maybe for occasional small cargo runs (mostly moving around blueprints or skill books or other low weight useful things.)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Looks like you're -- and I don't say this often -- getting some good advice on Battleclinic.

If you're really just out for evasion and seeing the sights, you might consider something along these lines:

[Atron, evade]
Damage Control II
Local Hull Conversion Inertial Stabilizers I
Local Hull Conversion Inertial Stabilizers I

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
[empty med slot]
[empty med slot]

Improved Cloaking Device II
[empty high slot]
[empty high slot]
[empty high slot]

Small Engine Thermal Shielding I

Practice the MWD/cloak trick and you should be fine. You're going over 900 m/s even while cloaked -- for 17 seconds. Without the MWD on you align in under 2 seconds. If you're unlucky and hit a smartbomb camp... Well, you're probably dead. But I'm not sure the small shield extender and meager resists would help that much anyhow.
