Need to wipe a few hard drives, any good suggestions for proper Hard Drive utilities?

Try minitool their partition manager is pretty good too.

Iobit's Advanced System Care 7 is my swear-by system maintenance package; it does HDD/Registry defrag, empty folder/duplicated file search, malware scans, disk-integrity checks, file-system repair, driver scan/update, and a whole bunch of other useful stuff.

You can also use it to (temporarily) deactivate unwanted services and free up the RAM they'd normally use (I usually managed to free about 400 megabyes of RAM).

Most of all, it's free!

How to Permanently Erase Data Off a Hard Drive Method 2 of 3: Physical Destruction Method is the only way you can be sure.

EDIT: It's does not wipe data. More of a recovery program.
