released a first version of a bp profit calc. its intention for me was to fast check a t2 bpo range tbh

eg http://eveeye.com/profit.asp?blueprint=Gyrostabilizer+II+Blueprint&ML=10&PL=7&POS=1&RAP=1&F60=1&R=1

open for suggestions and bugfixing

It's really nice looking, 10/10 for style.

Question though, this data:
Industry 5
Production Efficiency 5
Build own components ML20
Base material multiplier = 1,2
Base time multiplier = 0,65
Implant time multiplier = 0,96

Where is that taken from? There maybe should be boxes to say what kind of station you're working in as well as character selection and API

Also the ML is different from the ML input on the left.

I post on reddit as /u/callduron.

The calc uses relevant skills at 5.
The columns "build own" use the bpos for those items at a fixed ML 20

these are the multipliers used according to the blueprint and your selections on the left

I particularly like the way the calculator can be used instantly to provide a good estimate of profitability without having to be configured extensively.

A ready to use web tool, as it should be.

While I applaud the site as an idea, and realize it's perfectly useful for you, the lack of configuration options make Eve Industrialist the better choice in this scenario.

That said, by just changing some of those static values to edit-able values, this could surpass that for usefulness to others.

Then you should reconsider. The calculations are plain wrong!

http://eveeye.com/profit.asp?blueprint=Gyrostabilizer+II+Blueprint&ML=-4&PL=7&POS=1&RAP=1&F60=0
(The OPs own example, just for ME -4)

Short version: Extra materials, like the Gyrostabilizer I, are not subject to waste and therefor only one item is needed.

Here is the actual ingame quote: http://dl.eve-files.com/media/1108/GyrostabilizerII-ME-4-PE-5-rapid.png

Blueprint calculators: where a coder finds out just how screwed up the DB logic that CCP uses is Blink

Long version: Extra materials are only subject to waste from the manufacturers production efficiency, if and only if they also exist in the main material list. ME waste is never applied. And if a module is marked as recyclable in the extra materials list, the materials that make it up are removed from the main list's perfect value (to a minimum of zero).

Woo! CSM XI!

I didn't want to criticize your effort, Risingson.
But this is no bug! Your equations are wrong and I just made you aware of that

it does not apply equations accordingly at negative ML. it perfectly works at ML>=0.
i am thankful for you finding out about that.

Negative MEs are fairly easy to handle. at least, once you know the calculation Blink I was told here.

Thank you. Just fixed a mistake where extra materials were not handled as extra materials at negative ML. all should be ok now.

Regardless of a few teething problems that more learned people are pointing out I think your tool is quite good!
