To celebrate, here's some carception.

A vanagon carrying an F1 Team Lotus Formula Ford

I dont know how to feel about that.

Beauty and the beast?

I've always thought the classic Vanagon was one of the prettier vans. It is so much fun to drive. For a whole summer a friend and I drove nothing but a Vanagon up and down PCH and being able to pull the curtains down and getting blazed was nice.

Anyone remember the Datsun 210 hatchback? Way before my time, but it's iconic.. though not the nicest looking of rides.

Are we restricted just to cars? I've always liked Sikorsky's RAH-66 Comanche.. and it's not just because it was in one of my brothers's first games I played.

And a shoutout for the massive mod-dable R6.

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

There is a distinct lack of Reliant Robins in this thread

My dad took me to car shows all the time when I was a kid. He had a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 convertible, in yellow, like this one. It was the best looking year for the 442, I think. Same for the Chevy Chevelle. '69 was a good year. I was a bit bummed when he sold it a few years ago. But I probably wouldn't have taken it off his hands. It looks nice, but man it was like driving a boat. Super wide. And took some effort to work the pedals. But oh man... the sound and smell... mmmm....

He also had a Buick Grand National for a while. Not as pretty. But I felt like Mad Max riding around in that thing.

The car I drove the most in high school was my mom's car, a bluish gray 1987 Toyota Celica GT. Looked like this one. Same hub caps and everything. That was a pretty sweet ride too.

I wouldn't mind having a 1960 Cadillac Eureka Hearse. Seriously. Dat ass

Currently drive a taupe 2002 PT Cruiser. Dat ass

It's what a car would be if we ever managed to come up with morphing metals.

As it is, if it gets hit by a rock, you will have to get a new body all over it, unless you want a seam on itLol

It's actually a concept car made out of fabric. There's an interesting article on it here.

Yeah, I've read up on it after seeing the picture. Thanks for the link, though :)

@Grimpak: I'm also not sure a simple rock would be that devastating. Light impacts or attempts to scratch it could, imo, be less damaging than for a "normal" car, if the fabric is robust enough.
I'd see the danger mostly in sharp objects and when the fabric gets caught in something.

well yeah, but don't forget that even pantyhose can get quite some runs, so to avoid it, it must be something akin to pantyhose flexibility with the durability and resistance of a plastic tarp.

...and even then, these tarps can get runs.
