I thought the criteria was to log in during those few days in which the incentive campaign was running. Seeing as I was in a worm hole at the time, I figured that it would be fine as I had done that.

I don't even know what the stats on it were. Just found it odd to have the redeem option then have it taken away again.

Or you could have logged in on an alt on that account to claim it in a station.

Yup. I know that for next time. What wasn't clear was that I had to redeem it in that time. I think the adverts were talking about logging in during that time period.

Yer, I wasn't that interested in it.

Figured I'd get around to claiming it next time I was in Jita.

Nope **** u. We take your gift back. Haha.

Uh...it had an expiration date right there on the login screen, you choose not to read it. Deal with it

Same thing happened to me. Not a big deal, I guess, but kind of disappointing.

I am mortified for you, as your reading and comprehension levels are far worse than I first thought.

You have my sympathy. Cry

My advice to anyone who did not get the Genolution impant would be to submit a petition and the GM's will be able to advise you. Let me empasise that this does not mean they will just issue one for you but we do deal with petitions on a case by case basis.

Thank you.

I just waited for a wh exit (ended up with one with a station we could access thankfully) WHs open and close so often you're bound to find one pretty easily.

All "veteran gifts" should trigger for whatever criteria CCP sets and then remain indefinitely redeemable. Blizzard and many other companies do this. Not only can items sit in your mailbox after being redeemed before you have to store it in finite inventory, but some (Aion, I believe, for example) even have an out of game redeem page in account management where you can assign monthly accumulated gifts when you see fit to individual characters.

What does CCP have to gain by stripping gifts from accounts that qualified for them? If I see something appear there, I assume it to be an undelivered asset. Removing it is not unlike coming back from a 2yr inactive break and finding that not only have you removed all Noctis BPs from the game, but all Nocti in-game as well instead of letting them blow up eventually.

Feedback suggests there's plenty of upset from folks who feel they should have been able to redeem it at their leisure. I think CCP should re-evaluate the practice of stripping redeemable gifts.

People can just get their but ingame, and get their lazy ass to a station, if people cant handle that litle simple thing, then they dont realy deserve getting any free gifts.

It is well known that the result of a petition greatly depends on which GM you get and how good a day (s)he has.
There's really no need to emphasize that.

CCP wrote in the dev blog announcing the implants they would only be up for a short bit.

Also there was a warning on the login screen

So if you missed out, I have an extra, from my second account, that I'm not using and I'm willing to sell to you, as many other probably do.

so two sugestions from me, first learn to read, and second suck it up, this is CCP not Blizzard, or EA, or SOE, or anyone else.

Strangely enough, you might not want to risk leading your war declaration enemies using their neutral toons back to your worm hole just for an implant. Roll

Here is the dev blog http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=3221

Everyone with an active paid account on Nov29th through Dec 2nd Dec 5th will get one to redeem for their character

Not a single word about having to redeem it before a certain date.

I noticed no warning on the login screen, only that there is an item to be redeemed.

I petitioned.

That's a fair suggestion. Our intention was never to "strip people of gifts" but they had to be claimed during this window for them to serve one of their purposes, which was to give people an extra incentive to subscribe and log in. This is currently the only way our redeeming system can do that. When you have a large enough group of customers, there will be always be a group of people misinterpreting, making mistakes...or simply being in a situation that makes it hard for them to go to a station and redeem, causing them to feel left out and of course nobody wants that.

Technically I'm pretty sure that what you are suggesting is not possible at the moment, but I'll bring it up internally and see if the system we have allows us to make improvements in this direction.
