Reattachment?

Did I miss something?

Yes. After my arm got tired, it fell off.

All good again now though.

Yeah but why the reattachment?

Did CCP do something?

I would have just looked silly with two arms on the floor.

Nothing done yet to my knowledge, but had to have a way to continue to do this:

Why do you like velvet worms? All I know about them is that they are like coelacanths and have not evolved in a long time.. and they are sort of like bubbles of liquid (like a Taiwanese dumpling).

Of course I like water bears (Tardigrades) because they are a life form that can survive in space, so potentially runs counter to the primordial soup theory for the origin of life on Earth.

And thank you everyone who has supported. We are all virtually strangers but your \o/ always makes me find a quiet conference room at work so that I can look up this thread (and freak out) in complete solitude..

i'm a big fan of "worms" in general (it's hard not to like c. elegans after staring at it under a microscope for hours), and this article sums up some of my favorite things about them; their cool hunting habits, their fascinating social hierarchy, and also the fact that they are soft lil wormies with simply darling faces :3 but yeah, the complexity of their behavior is what really gets me; i wouldn't even say that describing juvenile mock-dominance displays as "play" is even that much of an anthropmorphisation, as those who study animal behavior have no problem calling the same behavior in other pack-dwelling animals "play". maybe biologists are just biased against non-chordates' supposed "primitiveness" >:[

Wow!
You two ........
Too smart for me.
I feel seriously dumb now.
But that's a-okay.
I still win EVE.
^_^

Oh don't worry, I really need no consolation.

I just need to look at this thread and feel good about myself. ^_^

looking back the video i posted of a tardigrade stuck on a nematode is actually kind of distressing me so please look at this instead

seriously though i hope the weird tiny jelly guinea pig managed to free itself in the end

edited to add; the youtube comments on most microorganism videos are actually pretty sweet and sometimes informative instead of soul-crushingly stupid like most youtube comments so go ahead and read thru them if you need some cheer in your life
