Greetings MD, as the topic suggests I am turning to the general public to fill a 2 billion isk loan for expansion and profiteering. I will try to answer as many questions as possible in my introduction thread, but if I fail to touch on something of importance please reply here so everyone can benefit.

About me:

First off, I am not an alt. I am one of two "mains" (those of you with your forum search savvy can surely put two and two together and figure out who my other "main" is). I was originally skilled as a pure industrialist, and as time has passed I have also picked up a few combat skills for when it is needed. I have never been traded/sold/bought/banned/etc etc. Like a good car, I am an original owner toon. The Bond:

The purpose of this bond is to expand current operations in order to produce more volume, and therefore more profits. Obviously, the exact nature and area of operation will not be disclosed, but looking at my skillset it is not hard to see the fields I operate in.

• 2 Billion ISK Bond - available in 10 shares at 200m ISK each
• Bond will begin when filled or Friday, November 11th, whichever comes first
• In case the bond does not completely fill, I will proceed with whatever amount has been pledged with the same terms
• Bond will run for two months (60 days) from start date, paying 15% interest per month
• Interest will be paid no later than the 33rd day for the first month, and 63rd day for the second month. Full investment value to be paid no later than 63 days after bond opens (this just gives me a 3-day RL happens window, and so people aren't upset)
• There is no collateral for this bond
• ISK should be sent along with an evemail to Katareena Starfire, you may also post here if you please. Investors who wish to remain anonymous will be called so in all subsequent updates.
• The status of this bond will be updated on this thread every month with interest paid/received.

Goals:

With an investment of 2 Billion isk from the public, I expect to expand infrastructure to produce more volume of goods in a very stable market. Due to the initial ISK sink of structure expansion, I expect to break even in terms of interest paid/profit turned in the first month (15% or 300M). In the second month, I estimate a profit of well over 40% (or 800M).

FAQ:

I will start out with a few that I know are going to be asked, and I will add others later as people ask them.

#1. Why are you offering no collateral?

To be honest, I have nothing of that type of value that I could offer as collateral. Nearly all of my "worth" is tied up in structures and ships which are currently being used. If i had something worth 2 billion I'd just sell that and pay no interest!

#2. How do I know you aren't just looking to run off with my ISK?

I am sure there will be pages and pages of this . I do not post much, but I have been reading MD for a long time. It almost seems pointless to argue it, but I will post the same old story you've all read a million times. As stated, this is MY character. I didn't buy it, trade for it, etc etc. I started it out as a noob and skilled it up to what it is now. I have been in many corporations and alliances, and I currently lead my own corp, and I can promise none have anything bad to say about me. I am not one to boast about e-honor, but I really wouldn't want to be labeled a scammer. I am pretty proud of the reputation I have built through the years. In the end, I have nothing to say, do, or give that can absolutely prove I am not looking for a quick buck.

#3. Why are you asking the general public for ISK rather than friends/corpmates etc?

This is one I threw in because this is what always comes to mind when I read other people's bonds. While a few of my friends may have this amount of ISk, and would possibly loan it to me, I feel it is just another part of the game that i would like to take part of. Part of the intrigue of the investment side of EVE, in my opinion, is the feeling of accomplishment after a successful venture, or consequently, the feeling of disgust after a failure. This is something I have been wanting to try for a long time, and I finally am at a point where I feel I am ready to provide a successful business venture.

#4. Are the investments taking place in dangerous territory? How will you handle unexpected losses (wardec, ganks, invasions, etc)?

Goods, and therefore ISK, will be travelling through dangerous areas. Looking at my killboard, you can see I am pretty efficient at moving goods safely, but it is EVE and accidents do happen. To prevent disasters, I typically move goods in small amounts over multiple trips, I never travel through nullsec, and I don't autopilot with valuables. To sum it up, I never put all my eggs in one basket, and any losses occured will be taken from my profit.

This bond has been filled. Since the bond filled before Friday, it will officially begin at 00:00 on 11.08.2011 (EVE time). The first interest payment will be due on 12.08.2011 (no later than 12.11.2011). The second interest payment plus initial investment will be due on 01.07.2012 (no later than 01.10.2012).
