Neither did CCP.

It's nothing to be alarmed about, just expected fall out from cutting out the WoD/DUST cancer.

It's not explicitly clear what the San Francisco office was responsible for

Sounds to me like they are getting rid of the Psssh. Either do something real or go home.

Yes, I am a CCP fan. I've bitched at them here and there (1st go at the drone revamp was crap - second go after we bitched was awesome) but for the most part I see Eve taking great strides forward at every turn. However, my only longstanding concern has been that this company should be doing more and faster with the number of employees they had and the budget they had. The Psshh expose did shed some light on the phenomenon of some people hanging around and doing a lot of nothing and gumming up the works.

Not that I want to say these two that left were specifically crap. They did some good stuff. But DUST isn't exactly the future and a money guy keeping the chairs from hitting the ceiling in his own office on his own continent doesn't sound all that necessary to making a better game.

Yeah, potentially lean financial times could have been a factor, and if they are nobody is going to say it, but to me it looks like the fat is being trimmed and possibly some more money could go into another artist, modeler, programmer, or developer.

In short I see all this as good management.
