Hi, I'm having no problem tanking this Guristas 10 / 10 in my tengu but wonder if I was able to produce the required dps to break the station at the end, I managed to get the station down past 50% shield to active the first reinforcement spawn but then I seemed to hit a wall. I then had a power cut so couldn't investigate further.

I'm using a heavy Kin tanked (95%) med crystaled and 3% missile implants and 4 bcu's which are currently 1 tech II, 2 x cn and one cross-linked (for fitting purposes) I can easily upgrade to 4x CN ballistics but if this wont still be enough then no point really.

Currently hitting 676 dps with heavy scourge fury. Would HAM's be better?

What dps do you need to kill the station?

Yes HAMS, going to need to drop about 2b in fittings to be solo them easily. You could get about 800dps with a few implants with HAMS and a nice cap stable tank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrF2YqMSioE i found this video using google that helps. Its an investment, drop a good amount of isk to get started and make it back quick.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try a set-up on sisi and see the max dps I can get and whether it's maybe worth pulling out my +3's for some 5's.

Yeah, definitely practice on sisi. Load up a carrier with a few viable fits and lots of extra mods. use an alt to scan down systems until you find a maze and jump your carrier there (on sisi you can dock at all stations)

Well, you've already seen the final station so you should be aware of the incoming dps and spawns.

The station in The Maze (and the dread guristas fleet staging point) has a weird anti-missile system (like an invisible defender missile that takes out your whole flight). I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. Either switch to HAMs or get up close (under 15km) with your heavies and it will be no problem (just switch to HAMs).

When I drop my dread on the DGFSP for example it can take upwards of 7 shots to kill the station (2 hits kills it).

Yeap HAM's were the answer.

My same fit, 3% missile implants with max skills and tech II launchers and ammo and the station went down within 2 reloads.

Pushing 979 dps with HAM's!

Thanks guys.

Or just T2 fit an ishtar for about 300m and solo them in that.

Edit for clarity : With better effective tank and DPS application than anything using HAMs.
