Quick Question for the Dev's

Why are you all so unquestioningly ok with high sec ganking? i get the "Emergent" game play crap everyone spues but high sec is ment to be at least partly "Safe" with how cheap some people can put together a Freighter gank fleet of Cati's or Talos's or even Tornado's its getting to the point where ganking is the most profitable "Profession".

i've been surfing around the fourms looking for a reason and all i see is Fourm post. where CCP Falcon spues the same crap that everyother troll does in this game. Im starting to get the impression CCP is full of Troll's and nothing but, Considering how little they regard high sec gank targets.

im sure im going to get flamed out for this but.

in referance to the link i posted you can't dock and be cloaked at the same time so if someones waiting at the station a bit off your landing spot when you warp to 0 on a station in an Instalock Nado how is that not at least partly an exploit? there is no way you can be truly "safe" in high sec when these types of tactic's are used. i personally have been a victim of this almost exploit.

Viator attempting to dock at Jita gets instapoped by a instalock nado, ganker loot scoops and makes 30m profit while im out 600m

im sure im going to get called a carebear or w\e else you guys think of but i honestly would like a serious responce about this. i understand that high sec isn't 110% safe and its not ment to be but as of lately its been safer to be out in Low or Null ffs.

another question kinda off topic but why is it that if you destroy someone else's wreak you get concorded? why does Concord care about wreaks? how does destroying a wreak warrent a Concorduken to the face? i would understand suspect but wtf concord?

Strange, never got ganked in hisec. Or anywhere else for that matter.
Try repair.exe, your installation seems to be corrupted in some way.

Why did this need a new thread?

There are many solutions to the problem you are trying to present and is therefore not a problem. Many of them are talked about in that thread. Did you read it or did you get fixated on what Falcon said?

I definitely wouldn't call everyone at CCP a troll. And just because you don't like how someone plays the game doesn't mean you get to dictate the way they can play it.

Because it's a very deliberate part of the game. They've worked long and hard to ensure that it will exist and be a solid and working mechanic.

I'll stop you there. No. It really isn't. Highsec is just meant to be an area where aggression comes at a cost. Because of this, you may only extract some degree of safety as a function of how reticent other players are with paying that cost. You are essentially gambling on the miserliness of others, but as luck would have it, there are a multitude of ways to (massively) skew the odds in your favour. Likewise, there are a number of ways to make the odds very bad indeed. The trick, of course, is to do a lot of the former and as little as possible of the latter.

Why would they hold them in high regard when they've almost universally made some catastrophic error that enabled that gank? And how is trolling to explain the truth of the matter and telling players that, no, this is the game.

Nope. Largely because there is no such thing as an instalock Nado, but also partly because it's so trivial to evade (especially in a cloaked ship). Oh, and why couldn't you post in that thread if all you were going to do was to complain about the same thing?

You're quite right that there is no way you can be truly safe in highsec, though. This is entirely as intended. You already got your serious response — you dismissed it as trolling. That was really really really really really really really stupid of you, since you are effectively arguing that the devs are wrong about how the game is supposed to work.
