explain void bombs please

Void bombs and Red Giants (+100% to bomb damage)

Do they neut full amount, or is it mitigated based on sig and speed of target? On paper 2 bombs enough to neut out a guardian completely?

Does a void bomb get amplified neut affect in a new rebalanced Red Giant?

Does a void bomb get amplified damage affect in a new rebalanced Red Giant? Meaning, it will hit other bombs in a volley not for 28 damage, but for 56?

I would assume that it increases the damage in the volley meaning you need to make waves smaller to avoid destroying your own bombs. However as for neut strength im not entirely sure if that would be effected, i believe there is a specific wormhole that changes neutralizer amounts which should have an effect on the void bomb. But again this is hypothesis atm, i haven't been in J-Space for the better part of 2 and a half years.

As to OP, I would suggest trying it. I would also suggest getting in a bomber with void bombs loaded and compare the in-game ammo stats with the base stats for Void bombs.

My guess is no, they won't be increased. Energy Neutralization is not generally considered to be damage. But don't take my word for it.

im only in jita once a month, or less. Not so easy for me to test it, thats why I was hoping for an answer. But it seems noone has bothered with a systematic test yet.

This is one of those "I'm lazy and even though it's near impossible for 99.99% of eve to get into a C6 red giant, but figure it out for me anyways" posts.

I responded pointing out the difficulty of the requested task, it's relevancy to most of eve and suggested that the guy figure it out himself and report back. I'll give you the first attempt was kind of snarky, but the second post that got deleted was as nice as pie.
