How do you end/start your convo's with people in-game?

I generally start with the classic "o/" and end by saying "fly safe o7"

I know some people will say "hi" or "hey" or stuff like that and end by saying "bye" or "later"

On the other hand some people just don't even bother greetin' ya and just start blabbering on

I usually begin with "sup ******" or "how the **** did you get around autoreject?" There is the rare instance where I am quite polite and use "the **** do you want?" Needless to say, I am convoed only rarely after the first attempt. I usually end with nothing, closing the convo without a word.

I will typically begin by randomly entering a conversation I was not in which results in exclamations of how I actually logged in.
If someone starts a conversation with me it's always OH HAI. I like to end conversations with uncomfortable silence or just closing the chat window and or logging off. Smile

I start with "hey man" and end with "l8", or some other ******** ****.

The former can be rapidly done without shifting your hands out of typing position, just by striking the backslash key and then the "O" key in quick succession. The latter requires you to awkwardly move your pinky down to the forward slash key. Straight

For more formal discussions, I'll usually open with "Hi." or something.

Depends on the circumstances. Most people that try to start a conversation with me end up being rather annoying.

I really need to get out of SAK...

But for those of you who are not annoying, a simple hello wrapped up with a see you later or fly safe will suffice.

I don't often start convos, but my first response when someone else starts one with me is usually something along the lines of, "I don't think doing that to myself would feel so good".

I usually end my convos in a stunned silence.
