Me and some more ppl are having a logon/update issu.

Can someone please explain the difference between logon and login. I'm not a native speaker and don't understand the difference. It's actually the same in the other languages I know, but there seems to be a difference in english.

One thing you will learn about us english speakers is this:

While in most cultures, language evolved subtleties to castly differentiate meaning between two similar words, to allow more specific and abstract concepts within language, english did the opposite. For any word in english, we will create 12 more that mean nearly the same thing. As an example, look at all the terms we have for rain, or someone getting their ass kicked.
