I realize Yosemite is still in public beta, but the client doesn't seem to run at all.

When I double click on the icon, I get a message that the application is "damaged" and prompts me to move it to the trash.

This is the error in the console:
Quote:

7/27/14 11:04:01.925 AM CoreServicesUIAgent[1169]: Error -60005 creating authorization
7/27/14 11:04:02.157 AM CoreServicesUIAgent[1169]: Error SecAssessmentCreate: The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -67054.)
7/27/14 11:04:04.652 AM com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.apple.xpc.launchd.oneshot.0x10000010.launcher[1167]) Service exited due to signal: Killed: 9

After seeing the error, I realized this is part of the new security settings, so going to System Preferences -> Security -> General and allowing apps to be run from "anywhere" let me start the application up. But the default setting in Yosemite blocks it.

The same happens in Mavericks, you still need to set it to run applications from anywhere before it will run.
