Anyway, these forums at least are well policed. My wife told me that the Blizzard forums are spammed every night by bots running ads for adult websites and realty companies and such. And they don't do a thing about it.

It doesn't always save the draft correctly. I've lost many many posts. I reflexively ctrl A and ctrl c before I post.

The forums are fine, I haven't ever encountered any major issues, except when the "Draft" feature accidentally eats my post.

I actually like this forum's quality. With the notable exception of the posts getting lost due to timeouts sometimes (get Chrome btw if you want to solve this with the back button) I think the overall presentation and setup is pretty slick. Guess it's just me.

Maybe its you that's the problem. Forums work great for me on my phone, tablet and pc.


Or perhaps its you the npc corporation member that is the problem. The forums would be a much better place without npc alt posting.

No, it is not him. While the forums do work, they are terribad. CCP basically took the worst possible off the shelf forum platform and then, through what was obviously heathen sorcery, managed to make them even worse.

rgr on the satire, but do not think for a moment CCP are leaving the forum to rot!

That said, there is of course room for improvement. Let me assure you we have been pestering the web-team about some improvements and optimisations that could be made to the forum.
At the same time we are also fully aware that that team is a very hard working bunch of good people responsible for several other CCP owned EvE related websites, not only the forum. As such, I will not tolerate any harsh words against them here for precisely that reason.

I will take the liberty of pointing out this thread to CCP. Please understand I can not say if and/or when an official comment can be expected.

Three thoughts come to mind in response to the OP:

Spend more time playing the game, less time on the forums.

Your job needs you.

Who cares? No one wants to see your signature image of flashing lights nor your powerpoint presentation on why ganking is good/bad for the game.
