Are there any collidable objects/structures in the arena? And if there isn't, should there be to force the combatants to be even more aware of their surroundings?

could be fun. i think the MJD beacons are technically collideable but have a tiny hit box so it's not very likely to be a factor.

an asteroid belt running through the arena (but not so it runs through any possible start points) would be hella fun. would certainly favour the teams with strong solo/pirate pilots Pirate

but i will add that when you're flying in it the arena can feel TINY. and there's no easy graphic that flashes a warning as you get near... it's an invisible wall of death that really you just have to have a sense in your mind of where you are in relation to it, because checking for that beacon icon in a fast moving overview when you've plenty going on already isn't all that easy.

Didn't the NEO have something like this, or were they just in the backround?

It was background.

And a second to flying out of bounds, just did that in practice a minute ago. Oops

Minding the boundary is part of the challenge of the tourney, and makes things more interesting. Plus, you got to give Gargant the chance to get some from people running past the edge of glory.

It's not usually a problem, though. Only time you feel extremely pressured by it is in a lynchpin, flimsy ship that's being run down by things faster than you. Don't envy logistics pilots on that account.
