You ask: Why is so much of our mining dangerous?

I say: Why not marry safe mining if you love it so much.

In fact, why not invent a special safety mining barge that won't explode to a single brutix on a gank because you are fired!

They are killing everyone, bots and non bots alike. This is evident by the fact that some people afk in their pods for a long time after being killed, while others respond in some way to the gank.
