Hi guys please tell me a good start for these 3 activities ;)

i guess i will load 1 Plex for a good start. Mission Running und Mining is not my style, but exploring.

I want to start the first week with salvaging as a Minmatar.

After that a week of science meaning i want to make blueprints that i can sell.

And in the third week i want to train a bit for producing my first goods and if possible produce the Rifter / Minmatar Fregatte ;)

so i dont want to go mining or running one mission after the other. i will do the complete tutorial and get myself a easier start with loading 1 Plex, even if i dont know what i should and could do with these 700.000.000 ^^

So these are the questions

1. Any noobie tips for salvaging, blueprint productions for moneymaking and producing goods that i can sell too

2. Any skill tips for these 3 activities so that i get the most out of one week for each ^^

3. what should and could i do with 7M ISK ;)

help and answers are much appreciated ;)

You will (probably) not make any profit with production, in fact you'll make a loss. Anyone telling you he makes mad profits with T1 production, made by a relative newbie and sold in high sec, is lying to you and probably himself.

Other than being a Negative Nancy, in this case, there's not much I can tell you.

To add something positive; the best way for a newbie to make silly income is probably exploration. It is however chance based so you could make 100 mil a night or you could make nothing at all for 3 days straight. It will teach you a lot of useful stuff though and forces you to use your brain cells a bit (unlike mining).

Yes, yes I am. Thanks for noticing.

If ISK is no issue, then you could train up to fly an Astero. The training time is much less than it would take you to fly a Covert Ops frigate, but the covops cloak and stats will make low-sec and even some null-sec exploration possible. The tradeoff: the Astero is very expensive, around 80mil if I recall.

that sounds great! the only reason for my "early / fast production" career was doing something while i explore the universe and earn nothing ^^

but "focus" on three skill "trees" as a noobie is probably not the best, but 1. exploration 2. salvaging and 3. blueprints are 3 skilltress also right?

i guess i can make a little bit money doing science aka blueprint production and selling?

but how will i earn money with exploring? and can i do that as a noobie with a t1 fregatte probably Minmatar Rifter? ;)

and how can i see if i could do these spezific exploration easily with my noob ship? ^^

Ralph King, skill books sound like a very good investment ^^

well if you spend it on ships and shiny modules, you will lose them.
start trading with it, you will probably lose it.
skill books all the way, use something like evemon to plan your progression after dicking around for a while in game to see what you find fun(i recommend exploding your fellow manBlink).

Hello, welcome to Eve.

For a new player :

Production / Market = Munitions. Those are always in high demand. For location I suggest checking the Starmap stats. Disregard the main Trade Hub Systems and sell the munitions in and around systems with high amount of NPC / ship kills.

Selling copies of researched Blueprints is not a new player friendly career. It takes a lot of time, skills, effort and ISK to accomplish. In my opinion due to the recently released Industry changes older highly skilled players are gonna be hard pressed to make a profit now.

Salvaging - Definitely a must have skill. Training that is rather quick and getting high skill level should be a priority, especially for new players. Don't forget Salvage Drones which come in handy when a Salvager module can't be fitted.

Quote:
In the past Salvaging was another aspect of Exploration. Players had to fit 2 different modules (Salvager and Analyzer) in order to complete all Archaeology (Relic) sites. When CCP added the Mini-Hacking Game, they also changed the site requirements as well as names of modules used to complete the various Hacking Sites :

Radar sites were changed to Data Sites. Codebreaker module was changed to Data Analyzer.
Magnetometric sites were changed to Relic sites and no longer required the use of a Salvager module. Analyzer module was changed to Relic Analyzer.

Anyway, for a new player :

Completing various Hacking sites is a cheap and easy way to make some ISK while starting out in Exploration. Add in some low level combat sites with more skill training and equipment upgrades you'll soon be on your way to becoming a full fledged explorer.

For more info you can google info guides from various wiki's (Evelopedia, Uniwiki, etc).

Good luck to you. Hope you have a long and rewarding career.

Take a look at Planetary Interaction if you want a way to earn while you do something else. It has an exploration aspect to it of finding good planets and getting materials out. One downside is that it ties you to a particular area.

I wouldn't recommend production for a new player since you only start making returns when you have maxed skill and a good set of researched blueprints. Even then, the margins are usually low for most T1 items and T2 items take a lot more skillpoints to get into.

Exploration is a very good way to a) make money b) learn basic safety measures in hostile space, both useful things you need to know to be sucessful in the game. Salvaging is easier and can be done by joining other groups with easy access to mission wrecks (such as pro synergy). The skill plan for a proper salvaging ship is rather short as well.

I've made a signature. I hope you're enjoying it. www.evetrademaster.com - web based asset manager & profit tracker
