I had always heard that nobody cared because the same few teams always took the top spots and there weren't any rewards for anyone else. So it was considered a lot of time and effort for no reward.

Just wannted to check if that had changed as people seem really upset about CODE. missing a match.

This is strictly in game thinking but why isn't there a slavery mechanic? It would fit well with lore.

I can't think of a way to make it work with actual opponents (though it would be great if someone could) but I should at least be able to enslave my alts. This would give them some minor efficiency bonus (trade, production or whatever) in exchange for a penalty of some description. Maybe a public list of my slaves, a standings penalty with Minmatar, restricted character movement etc.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.
