Not the case. If you warp to the bookmark for the first time after downtime, you'll land at 0 on the sig, which could be as much as 10km or so off the actual WH. Every warp thereafter will be at 0 on the wormhole.

Had to check this, as I didn't realise that's how it actually worked! Turns out I still have things to learn about w-space, thanks.

Very simple, straightforward change, so I'm not sure there's much room for suggestions at this point. I just wanted to voice my approval and delight at this change. Thanks CCP for pushing the boundaries of your code to make this possible. Now if we can just get some better risk/reward going in C4s, wormholes will be looking good in my opinion.

Hey everyone! This thread is for all of your feedback and discussion surrounding the changes to signature IDs that we havre added to our wormhole changes dev blog.

+1. Starting not to hate this patch. Grudging thanks.

WTH are you thinking CCP! or not thinking! Real Black holes reduce sensor strength, targeting range, and increase inertia! Gravity wells and waves seriously mess up any observations at distance! So don't call this wh with anti-black hole effects a black hole wh!

And do larger ganking groups really need a buff against smaller less-prepared groups? Really?! We don't need a new mechanic for letting the wh pvp group bring massive fleets into known space (or wh space) without the K162 wh being seen and anticipated. Just like your stupid gate camping mechanics allow large fleets to insta-kill solo travelers force the ishtar-love to get nerfed twice back into insignificance.

STOP buffing large fleets against smaller groups! They don't need the help.

Wut?

Wrong thread - on another note, I like the scan ID change.

This is the one Good change Hyperion will be remembered for.

The rest? No tears would be shed if they disappeared.

Which is a shame as there is the core of good contained in some of them, but the universally hated mass spawn change, in conjunction with the combined effects of the rest, has doomed the whole upgrade in the eyes of the majority of the WH player base to be viewed as an abject failiure.

No amount of "PR Spin" will change that.

Dropping the mass spawn change completely, burning it and burying the ashes, and correcting some of the other imbalances, will turn it to an overall neutral.

Then Actually doing something to benefit wormhole space, is the required course of action.

Thank God for an accelerated development cycle (hopefully)

Little guy review:
10 /10
Awesome improvement of QOL
Not having to scan everything everywhere after downtime? Neato! Saves lots of time, even if you don't live in Australia.
What could improve: not actually an improvement, but a nice addition would be signal persisting after jump. Meaning, if you jump that low sec and jump back, you won't have to scan everything from zero signal again.
Opinions?

From someone who spent a year in a C3....

This is a genuine 'good thing'.

Thank you CCP.
