fitting a thorax

Whats up with this ship? you dont have enough pg do fit heavy ions with 800mm plate without a fitting mod.

can anyone help e fit a thorax pls?

You should be able to fit Ions with good fitting skills. A fit I've used in the past:

Heavy Ion Blaster II

Warp Scrambler II
X5 Prototype Engine Enervator
Experimental 10mn Microwarpdrive I

800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I

I have no trouble fitting this up, but I do run Genolutions so it's probably a tad tighter than it looks to me at the moment. (I'm not using EFT, just looking at a hull I have fitted up in game.)

For the love of all that is good and holy, why would you want to plate a Thorax? That mentality is so pre-tiericide. It's mobility is one of it's strong suits and you'll need every bit of it to get into/keep your target at close range. Shield buffer it!

Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler
X5 Prototype Engine Enervator
Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction

Damage Control II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II x 3
Tracking Enhancer II

Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Medium Polycarbon Engine Housing I x 2 (or rigs to suit)

Drones to suit (I prefer 5x medium ECM drones for the extra GTFO factor)

(Apologies for the non-EFT fit. I'm at work.)

Whether you go rails or blasters, you'll be mobile and have about 15k-17k EHP depending on your skills. I actually prefer 200mm Rails to blasters now; You won't do as much damage and you can't get up close as well, but you do okay with Javelin if you scram kite or you can switch to AM/Thorium if someone is long-point kiting you.

tbh i havent tried fitting one in game yet.

im looking at pyfa and its telling me not enough pg.

i see what u did there with the small cap booster. does that give you enough cap?

That tank looks paper thin to me, it's really 17k? Feel like I had a similar fit but with all extenders on rigs plus an adaptive invul instead of a web at barely 20k.
